If you want the 'official' answer, you are probably best to raise a case with GSS and get them to confirm.
I don't see why it would be unsupported. I do wonder why one of your VCs and the PSCs are running 6.0u2 but your other VC is still running u1? What's the issue with upgrading the last VC to 6.0u2?

You could use the Invoke-VMScript cmdlet (from a Windows box) to launch that command on the Ubuntu server.
You will have to do at least a Connect-VIServer to a vSphere Server (vCenter or ESXi host).
You do need authentication before you will be able to give any command to the vSphere Server.

What version and build of ESXi?
Are you sure the SEL is actually being cleared after you run the command? Are you resetting the sensors on the host in vCenter on the hardware tab after doing the reset?
You can use the Send-MailMessage cmdlet for that.
You can provide the report in the Body or as an attachment to the email.
I can confirm this for latest ESXi 5.5 4345813 and Server 2003 32bit vm. When i take Snapshot, i get : msg.snapshot.error-QUIESCINGERROR.
But is worked before for some time. And also 2 other 2003 VM's dont show this Problem?! Downgrade to Tools 9.4.15 helped.
Is the VMRC plugin installed for FireFox?
Normally that is installed during the PowerCLI installation, but if you installed FF later on, that plugin might be missing.
You can uninstall/install the VMRC sw separately.

we are upgrading the environment from 6.0u1 to u2 and it's not possible to upgrade everything at same time, that's why one vc is with u1 and second one is with u2.

Unfortunately, The Get-View cmdlet only works for vSphere objects and does not work with MoRefs from the SRM API.
If you have control of all the users workstations, ie Windows domain joined then yes you could roll out a GPO to prevent users from running scripts entirely.
You would also need to lock this down on servers too.

When I am trying to upload an Image I get this error: Failed to load the vCloud installations SSL thumbprint due to missing external certificates.
I has checked this KB (kb.vmware.com/kb/2070908) but not is the same issue, the certificates are OK.
Any have the same problem.?
One thing you could try is to change the MAC address of the VM to the same as the phyeical machine, some license uses the MAC address, so if it has not changed the license might be okay.
Worth a go?
I would do another P2V, change the MAC on the VM before booting then boot and check the software.

I don't think it's possible when running ESXTOP interactively, but you could use the "f" key to see what additional counters are available to be added.
Depending on what you're after, I would look at using PowerCLI as this will give you flexibility to combine data to get exactly what you're after.

I'd like to upgrade an existing Windows XP VM to Windows 10, but I'm not sure how to go about it. I downloaded the 64-bit version of Windows, so if I just try to launch the setup.exe from within XP, I get an error message telling me it's "not a valid Win32 application". But if I boot from the disc image and go through the installation process there, I run into a choice between "upgrade" and "custom" install options. Under the "custom" option my "files, settings, and applications aren't moved to Windows" — but I want to retain them. If I choose the "upgrade" option, however, I'm instructed to reboot "normally", then "insert the installation media and restart the upgrade". I suppose I could try the 32-bit version of Windows, but the whole point of upgrading is to get the latest and greatest with maximum compatibility and support for future application upgrades.... Is there any way to upgrade to 64 bits without having to reinstall and reactivate all my applications, licenses and settings?

Tinha configurado para reter os 2 últimos backup de cada vm e agora removi os backups mais antigos, mas mesmo assim continua acusando falta de espaço.
Como faço para deletar os arquivos mais antigos?
Fiz uma pesquisa no google e ví várias pessoas com o mesmo problema e a solução foi remover e instalar novamente o appliance, é isso mesmo?
